Quintessentially English ... messing about on the river

Temple Island is situated a mile and a half downstream from Henley, on one of the most beautiful reaches of the River Thames. The Temple itself is a delightful folly, designed by James Wyatt as a fishing lodge. The Etruscan Room commands magnificent views of the Thames, offering a unique setting for entertaining, whether for corporate hospitality, wedding receptions or for private parties. It also provides a secure location for confidential meetings, and an idyllic venue for presentations and promotions. We can cater for up to 40 guests in the Etruscan Room or up to 120 in a marquee which sits behind the Folly amongst the trees.

Elegant Cuisine have been privileged to cater on the Island for the past eight years. In that time we have looked after a variety of events from picnics and barbecues to wedding receptions and corporate lunches. These menus have been designed specifically for the venue and we are confident that they can all be freshly prepared and finished off in the small kitchen within the Folly. Everything goes on and off the Island in a small boat so there are a few restrictions that we have to adhere to. We take care of the Event Management of any event on the Island to make sure that everything runs as it should.

We look forward to the opportunity to put a more specific quotation together for you based on your particular requirements and catering for you in this most delightful venue in the middle of the River Thames.
