For an exceptionally dramatic wedding venue, The Bodleian Library is world famous for its intricate vaulted stone carved ceiling, and home to 'The Great Hall' from Harry Potter, this elegant and grand venue does not disappoint. 

Your guests will be truly wowed by the scale of this great building using the Divinity School with the vaulted ceiling as your evening drinks reception and Wedding Breakfast setting, your guests will enjoy the views and atmosphere of this great hall, dating back to 1500's and made even more famous by the filming of Harry Potter. 

Due to this building being a working part of Oxford University and in use in the day there are restrictions on timings for which area can be used, please take a note of these on the right.

Capacity: 
Divinity School: evening receptions only, hosting 120 seated and 200 standing.
Convocation House and Chancellors Court: available for wedding ceremony from 9am to 2pm with 100 seated on fixed wooden benches and 100 standing. 
Blackwell Hall: evenings only available from 5pm, hosting 250 seated and 450 standing
Roof Terrace: evenings only, 100 standing
