Kingston Bagpuize House has it all, a wonderfully grand privately owned home used by film makers and period dramas to evoke a sense of English heritage and propriety, a very special place to stage any occasion.

Elegant Cuisine are exclusive caterers for Kingston Bagpuize House, together with this stunning privately owned home, set in parkland and woods which can regularly be seen with meandering wildlife such as deer, guinea fowl, muntjac, birds of prey and then of course our home-grown sheep, making this venue one that will stick in your mind as one of the most picturesque buildings and lush green spaces making for a magnificent setting for any special occasion. 

The house is open for guests to enjoy the gardens throughout the Spring and Summer months, there are mature trees reached by the terrace walk first created in the 18th Century, with long herbaceous borders and delightful woodland walks playing host to over 40 species of snowdrop in January/February.   

Kingston Bagpuize House was first built in 1660 and later remodelled in the Georgian style of the time, and features a superb cantilever staircase supported only by the vast thickness of the walls. Other rooms available for wedding guests to enjoy are the Drawing Room (the original entrance hall) with 18th and 19th Century French furniture on display, the wood-panelled library dating back to 1720 with mahogany furniture and a dainty rose and pink bedroom.      

Kingston Bagpuize House and gardens are open to the public from May through the Spring and Summer months, a particularly enchanting place to visit if you are a fan of Downton Abbey as this was featured in both series 5 and 6 as home to Lord Merton as 'Cavenham Park'.
 

Capacity:
The standard wedding marquee seats up to 200 guests, however extensions can be provided to accommodate up to 300 people.
There are also several locations on site that can host a bespoke marquee.
